Having people committed to a campaign and willing to
sacrifice personally to secure our Republic and get me elected is a humbling
experience.
Such was the case yesterday (Saturday) while talking to some
folks about politics and our campaign need for donations to make an auto
insurance payment that day to secure keeping the campaign bus on the road.
Without any prompting this anonymous donor asked how much we
still needed for the insurance policy payment, to which I replied $30.00 or
$40.00, he promptly stood up then removed a $50.00 bill from his pocket and
dropped the cash in Nadine’s lap, stating “here is enough to keep the bus on
the road.”
