6/29/12 Bar Soap 6.25% Increase

After 3 price increases and 2 quantity reductions over the last 18 months the bar soap I purchase for home consumption just mad another reduction in quantity of 6.25%.

Inflation is in full swing far above official federal claims of 2.5% annually. A consistent 20% to 60% increases in prices or combination quantity reduction and price increases across many household and basic consumption items.

Unlike the inflation spirals and interest hikes of the 1980’s, the current recession (and we are still in a recession), has government in collaboration with banking and Federal Reserve through hiding costs within false/misleading reports, and forcing interest rates at 0% when the world is running at 5% to 10% interest rate.

Ignoring the economic reality required of resetting an economy while attempting to thwart the “Come to Jesus” moment for American’s is building into an incredible reality check.

Just because a sign along America’s borders indicates this is America and we are exceptional, does not negate basic math, Biblical admonitions of debt, borrowing and spending patterns, or principles of economics; there is nothing pretty about our “Come to Jesus” moment.

6/28/12 Commentary

With great sadness today I opened the news and read “Supreme Court Upholds Obamacare”.
1. The court only has the power of “opinion” not law.
2. The vast majority of America, uneducated about our Republic and principles of sovereign individuality gifted by God and not civil authority will accept today’s “opinion” as law.
3. Government at any level cannot force sovereign citizens to purchase anything under our Constitutional Republic.
4. Government does not own our bodies and thus cannot control the personal care individuals chose, yet forced medical care violates this principle at the core.
 5. The court had a Constitutional obligation of unified rejecting Obamacare.

The courts “opinion” today and it is only an “opinion”, flagrantly shows how far from original intent America has drifted toward the forms of government our founders pledged to prohibit when creating our Republic.

After today, the core principles of individual sovereignty, of state sovereignty, and the continued existence of America as a Constitutional Republic are at risk. After today, politics are no longer about major political parties like the Democrats or Republicans but principled committed individual candidates; those individual candidates who understand the founding principles of the collective states enjoinment, and the subordinate position of national government. I am one of those candidates for state office in Minnesota HD41-B.

Now more than anytime in American history, those who love, fought for and care about our children’s future need to support Constitutional minded candidates for state House and Senate across our land. The time for fence sitting, holding to party loyalty for name sake is past. Now is the time for supporting the best qualified candidates, now is the time to support my campaign.

6/27/12 Campaign Trail Update #38

On March 31, 2012 the Republican Party apparatus, knowing full well my campaign for Minnesota HD41-B, endorsed Laure Palmer for HD41-B. During her acceptance speech she repeatedly asked someone else to run as she had no desire for State House.

Apparently no one else wanted the job or came forward, the Party endorsed Laura, and 88 days later Laura Palmer has no known campaign website, or blog developed indicating her candidacy for Minnesota House 41-B. Laura has kept her word about the lack of interest in running for state office.

I was able to locate Laura Palmers Facebook page, filled with internet game boasting including completing 9 levels in Bubble Safari, working on a Dragon Boat, sharing “baby fish” in Farmville’s Hawaiian Paradise, and asking for help earning a “bug catcher” to explore insects on her Farmville game.

The voters in Minnesota HD41-B have clear choice of candidates for 2012, consisting of an establishment DFL, an uninterested internet game playing GOP, or a candidate who has purpose of public service to our Constitution and Republic form of government in St. Paul.

6/26/12 “Ban The Ban Minnesota” Endorsement

As with previous years an organization dedicated to consistency in freedom, “Ban The Ban Minnesota” recently endorsed Tim Utz for Minnesota House District 41-B for the 2012 elections.

Tim proudly accepts the endorsement recognizing non government commerce has private property rights superior to civil government control and usage of legal substances such as smoking.

Endorsement Statement;

"Ban the Ban Minnesota is pleased to once again endorse Tim Utz for Minnesota House District 41B. Tim understands and supports personal choice to partake in a legal activity as well as a property owner's right not to force his customers out into the elements simply because they smoke. We strongly support Tim's devotion to protection and restoration of personal liberties."

6/26/12 Automatic Spending cuts, Sure, Right!

America has anarchy in all levels of government, out of control and unable to function in general or specifically functioning within confides of our Republic and Constitution. Pointless has become the exercise of voting Republican or Democrat as both parties are incapable of governing.

America needs real folks, untarnished by political powers of party control stepping forward across our Republic like I have, America needs citizens recognizing those candidates, then donating, volunteering and voting for them on Election Day 2012.

Here is just one example of the breakdown in government when Congress chooses to “delay AUOTMATIC” spending cuts.

6/25/12 Political News Flash

A candidate for public office can be a conservative, patriotic, loyal, educated, principled, and electable and a winning candidate on Election Day 2012 and still not be a Republican.

6/24/12 Campaign Trail Update #35

Having people committed to a campaign and willing to sacrifice personally to secure our Republic and get me elected is a humbling experience.

Such was the case yesterday (Saturday) while talking to some folks about politics and our campaign need for donations to make an auto insurance payment that day to secure keeping the campaign bus on the road.

Without any prompting this anonymous donor asked how much we still needed for the insurance policy payment, to which I replied $30.00 or $40.00, he promptly stood up then removed a $50.00 bill from his pocket and dropped the cash in Nadine’s lap, stating “here is enough to keep the bus on the road.”

We thank this anonymous donator for stepping in the gap and meeting our campaign insurance need in the 11th hour. Join this supporter and other donors today by making an affordable contribution at www.timutzforhouse.com

6/23/12 Campaign Trail Update #34

Sometimes a Good Laugh Works…..

Campaign bus driver volunteer Wes Wiggins needed some help today picking up his new work truck from Albert Lee, Minnesota and asked me to give him a hand.

The highlight of the trip was during the time we examined the vehicle at the pickup point, asking basic questions of operation and equipment location. The sales representative, Kevin Lee, mentioned the truck has a block heater to which I asked him where the plug location was.

We literally spent the next 25 minutes looking everyplace for the block heater plug. I have not laughed this much in years as Kevin and I bantered jokes back and forth about politics, his automotive professionalism, and knowledge of vehicles; starting with my statement “so this is the first block heater you sold on a truck in 30 years of sales” and Kevin jokingly suggested he might move into my district just so he could not vote for me.

Eventually 4 other sales representatives joined in the pointless exercise of searching for the block heater plug, only locating the cord after one salesman contacted a shop mechanic by email at home for help.

At the end of the block heater search experience I promised Kevin not to ask where any other vehicle equipment was located, we all shook hands and parted as new friends with a memory only our group will appreciate for years to come.

From this candidate who studies, researches, stands, and debates hard issues of government in a political setting I say thanks Kevin for the, break, memories and good laugh today in Albert Lee, Minnesota.

6/22/12 Campaign Trail Update #31

Last night I joined in the Fridley parade walking in support of Dale Helm for Minnesota House 41-A, an area of my district before redistricting, one of the few Republican candidate in whom a mutual respect and appreciation of the current political realities exists.

Dale’s wife also walked the parade and we enjoyed several conversations during the parade walk. I appreciate the continued healthy relationship Dale and I have maintained and look forward to working together in St. Paul serving our Constitutional Republic as Representatives. Voters from Fridley who in the past supported my campaign should give Dale consideration.

6/17/12 Campaign Trail Update #28

Tonight, Nadine and I along with Mona attended a concert, funded by a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund and sponsored by Three Rivers Park District that is funded in part by Clean Water Land and Legacy Amendment, at Silverwood Park in St. Anthony, Minnesota; all monies derived from the 2008 Constitutional Amendment, funneled through multiple layers of government.

Tonight’s performance was provided by Michael Monroe, a 40 year plus Minnesota musical performance artist who uses a combination of vinyl and digital acoustic music providing a variety of entertainment and comedy.

During the break I introduced myself to Michael commenting although I lived in Minnesota for 35 years I travel in different social circles than he and have never heard of him, but still enjoyed his variety of music.

Happy Father’s Day

Today is a day we honor those men who gave us life, blessings, invested in our lives and futures, taught us responsibility, and shared their spiritual convictions; our fathers. Fathers, both natural and for many in America today, fathers by marriage or adoption who care enough to be a leader, counselor, guide and mentor to us deserve our respect, appreciation and honor.

Equally our Founding Fathers gave us many incredible riches, blessings, freedoms, power and responsibilities. Equally, today we should bestow honor on our Founding Fathers. Do you know the names of the approximately 250 men who participated in the creation of our Republic? Do you know their personal history, spiritual conviction, family dynamics, political commitment, lives lost?

This Father’s Day, perhaps we all should commit to learning about, asking questions of, studying the principles of and honoring our natural fathers, adaptive fathers, our Founding Fathers; then thank our Heavenly Father for providing the richest blessings possible through the lives of our many fathers.

6/16/12 Campaign Trail Update # 26

One great experience of campaigning is meeting the variety of citizens in a district and their productive endeavors. While canvassing the district for ballot access signatures, our group came upon a couple young business venture capitalists. We willingly purchased and consumed some cookies, and drinks without government oversight or review.

Although many elected representatives desire to control all aspects of HD41-B residents lives through more ordnances and laws, citizens living in the diminished free state of Minnesota are not required to obtain a county health department operation permit, purchase a city business license, or file IRS reports, to have a cool-aid stand like those required in other states, YET.

As a candidate for Minnesota House I pledge to diligently fight against, reject and repeal the wholesale abuse of freedoms granted by our creator, God disguised as “reasonable” legislation. There is no reasonable legislation justifying the abuse of powers against the people of HD41-B.

6/15/12 Campaign Trial Update #25

6/15/12 Campaign Trial Update #24

Today I took a break from the campaign trail today and joined my wife and two of the grandkids, spending several hours traveling to 3 parks in the district, Emerald and Water Tower Parks in St. Anthony and Hansen Park in New Brighton. We enjoyed plenty of fresh air, recreational entertainment and even shared some mosquito bites.

The four of us then headed to home for quick refreshments before going to Menards for garden materials and returning home. After our daughter picked up the grandkids Nadine and I made a stop at Culver’s in St. Anthony for dinner. Nadine and I enjoyed some rare, non political quiet time together, and then off to Cub Foods for a couple items before heading home.

6/15/12 A Discussion Subject

Someone explain the difference between the two scenarios represented here.

  1. Having Hitler in the 1930’s Germany suspend the national constitution, and illegally placing all authority under his care and control.

  1. In 2012 America, having elected and appointed civil public servants from dog catcher to the president, regardless of political affiliation, ignore the constitution, bill of rights, and other founding documents to illegally place all authority under government care and control.

6/12/12 Founding Father Quote

John Jay letter to George Washington Philadelphia, PA - 14 October 1779
The only satisfaction I promise myself from this appointment, will flow from the rectitude with which the duties of it will be discharged, and not from a prospect of general approbation.

6/13/12 Campaign Trail Update #23

Tim was invited to participate at Autumn Woods of St. Anthony, Minnesota monthly Chat and Chowder event held in the main dining hall. The event includes lunch, bingo and a presentation by someone in the community.

Tim made a presentation on our civil obligations in a participatory Constitutional Republic where individual sovereignty is gifted by God and supreme over government; and obligations of generational heritage conveyed within families.

Tim’s wife Nadine and grandson Ben joined the event along with the group who enjoyed the challenge and information.

If you know of a location within HD41-B that would appreciate Tim sharing with a group contact the campaign at contact@timutzforhouse.com

6/10/12 Campaign Trail Update #22

We have our first summer parade in 2 weeks at Columbia Heights, Minnesota. Here are a list of parade needs for a totally out of this world parade. Our friends, social network connections, family, and supporters will determine the term “out of this world” by the level of support provided. Here is a list the parade wants, what we end up with is the actual needs as determined by the above mentioned groups.
1. Parade walkers; no limit
You can join us, email us at contact@timutzforhouse.com.
2. T-shirts $400.00:
Reusable for all 3 summer parades, order must be placed by 6/12/12.
3. Penny candy $200.00:
Campaign Finance law restricts the size of candy permitted for distribution, so we just suggest penny candy. Self purchase and drop off at our campaign office along with receipt or make a donation on line.
4. Business cards $250.00:
In past parades we hand out business cards, people keep them; during a parade we usually distribute 5,000 business cards.
4. Bus costs $30.00:
A typical parade costs are on fuel and related incidentals.
5. Walker supplies $30.00:
Typically water and munchies for during the parade walk.
Other items from past parades we have canceled for consideration are stickers, buttons, large banners, flags. Those are the campaign staff considerations of need, at parade time we will know if our political family agrees with the list. Visit www.timutzforhouse.com today and make your support known.

6/9/12 New Facebook Campaign Page

6/9/12 Campaign Trail Update #21

After 2 weeks of diligent work traveling Minnesota HD41-B securing citizens approval for ballot access as a Constitution Party of Minnesota candidate this topnotch staff and volunteers managed to collect 654 of the necessary 500 signatures for ballot access.

Analysis of information collected from the signatures clearly show a broad base of approval for a third party candidate across the previous district 50-A at 44.3%, and areas of 41-B not part of the previous 50A at 45.7%. Further review of our collected information reveals, without exception, Tim Utz has large, broad, and deep, name recognition across all political spectrums in the new district.

The citizens of HD41-B encompassing Hilltop, St. Anthony, Columbia Heights and the Southern half of New Brighton, now have a clear ballot choice on Election Day for their representative, 1. A Democrat focused on big government, cradle to grave Nanny state control, 2. A Republican candidate who used her endorsement speech asking someone else to run, she is only accepting the endorsement because we must have a republican on the ballot, and has no intention of campaigning or winning, 3. A Constitutionalist, Tim Utz, who has a purpose in life of public service to our Constitutional Republic form of government.

For change to occur in civil government citizens must change their patterns; in HD41-B the voters have a clear opportunity for making a pattern change in choice of elected representative for Minnesota House 41-B, that change is a solid unapologetic, mark on the ballot for Tim Utz on Election Day, Tuesday, November 6, 2012.

6/4/12 Donation Notification

Today we received a generous donation of $100.00 from a Mona A. of Columbia Heights, Minnesota. Thanks to Mona generosity tomorrow we can file for the office of MN HD41-B as a Constitution Party candidate, giving citizens an alternate choice on the ballot from the usual “lesser of two evils”, Republican/Democrat choice.

Thanks again, Mona for making the impossible possible. Make your own donation at www.timutzforhouse.com.

6/4/12 Christians Caesar

After church yesterday Nay and I were discussing the message from Romans 13 of obeying Caesar unless Caesar specifically demands we stop our scriptural mandate to preach the gospel; giving several examples of seatbelt, and speeding laws. An even pointed example given was the scripture text was written to Christians suffering under the power of Nero at the time and was admonished to subject their lives to his rule as the pastor sighted scripture that proclaims kingdoms raise and fall under God’s authorship and we are subject to such powers as they are ordained by God.

During our conversation Nay made the best definition of our Republic clarifying the citizen’s relationship to civil authority under the Constitution. In America “our Caesar is the Constitution”, not the office of Mayor, Governor, the courts, city council, police officers, any civil servant or the individuals who serve in those positions of public service.

The American federal Constitution requires as a condition of voluntary union, states form as and remain a Republic. The people sovereign under the powers of our creator created the sovereign Republic of Minnesota, creating a Constitution protecting such powers of the people and subjection of civil government.

The Minnesota Constitution preamble states: We, the people of the state of Minnesota, grateful to God for our civil and religious liberty, and desiring to perpetuate its blessings and secure the same to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution:

Those who serve in civil government are in subjection to restrain conduct, power and force within the Constitution and the people are the author of such Constitution; as the author, the people are lords over public servants. Our founding fathers were adamant about the relationship of the people to civil servants, who were the temporary benefactors of authority compliant with the Constitution.

6/3/12 Campaign Trail Update #20

I am finally settling in for the evening, after campaigning for 9 hours. Mona Anderson, and other unspecified Republicans were participating in the ballot petition process; because a candidate for public office is about the best qualified individual, not party affiliation or loyalty.
Our founding fathers were adamant about not promoting political parties but supporting local communities, choosing the best among them to represent the interest of a community and preserving the new Republic and union of sovereign American states.
The best part of today is my bride participated and spent 6 hours on the campaign trail driving the campaign bus around HD41-B. I publically thank Nay for the efforts and enjoyable company she brought to the campaign trail today.
