Tonight, Nadine and I along
with Mona attended a concert, funded by a grant from the Metropolitan Regional
Arts Council, Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund and sponsored by Three
Rivers Park District that is funded in part by Clean Water Land and Legacy Amendment,
at Silverwood Park in St. Anthony, Minnesota; all monies derived from the 2008
Constitutional Amendment, funneled through multiple layers of government.
Tonight’s performance was
provided by Michael Monroe, a 40 year plus Minnesota musical performance artist
who uses a combination of vinyl and digital acoustic music providing a variety
of entertainment and comedy.
During the break I introduced
myself to Michael commenting although I lived in Minnesota for 35 years I
travel in different social circles than he and have never heard of him, but
still enjoyed his variety of music.
