7/30/12 Campaign Trial Update #63
We had an unexpected family event
that changed today’s plans. Nadine and I spent time together attending a
special event. Being later in the evening when the event was completed, we
decided to visit 20 plus year friends who live in South Minneapolis.
During the time together the
question was asked about donation limits for this year. After a short explanation
the husband opened his checkbook and donated $500.00. I will remember for
decades this couples kindness today in preserving the Republic.
Again Thank-You two dear
friends of more than two decades, you rock and lighted up our world tonight. Join this couple and make a
donation in any amount up to $500.00 per person at www.timutzforhouse.com.

7/30/12
Campaign Trail Update #62
By the
numbers; today Tim Utz for Minnesota House 41-B filed the required Pre-Primary Financial
Report with the Minnesota Campaign Finance Board. The information is public by law and every
political candidate for office must file when spending over a specified dollar
amount, for the Minnesota House the amount is $100.00. The public reports are available
after 8/1/12 at http://www.cfbreport.state.mn.us/rptViewer/viewRptsCan.php
Our
campaign is financially hindered resulting in stifled campaign operations
because local active conservatives within the Republican Party choose, unlike
previous elections (see figures below) to sit on the sidelines and not support
our campaign this year even though as a matter of principle and predictably I
changed party affiliation in 2011. In spite of the conservative activists
distancing our campaign the Tim Utz for Minnesota House 41-B is more popular
than ever within the general voting population, recognized everyplace we go as
never before, and now are receiving appearance requests.
In fact, as
a Republican in 2010, Tim beat every other Republican candidate on the ballot
including gubernatorial candidate Tom Emmer by over 600 votes. The candidate’s
conviction of sticking to government compliance to the Republic form of Constitutional
restraint and actually voting as such; along with not carrying the water bucket
for any specific political party has produced a lead for Tim in District 41-B.
Voters from
across the political continuum might not agree with everything Tim stands for,
but know his positions, being rooted in our constitution, is predictable, reliable,
and deserving of their vote on Election Day 2012. The data below reflects the rejection
of this campaign by self proclaimed conservatives in HD41-B.

$7,332.73

7/30/12 Campaign Trail Update #61
Tim Utz for Minnesota House 41-B is experiencing a political
phenomenon approaching National Night Out this year. We continue receiving
requests to visit neighborhood parties during National Night Out. We have
received 5 requests to date, and intend making a personal appearance at each
request.
In the past 4 National Night Out events, the campaign
managed reaching 25-30 locations, a hard evening of running non stop for 4
hours, but a well worth effort reaching voters. The campaign bus uses $50.00 in
gas during the evening, any donations to defray this expense is appreciated. Email
us at: contact@timutzforhouse.com
should you want to join the evening, eating, and sharing.

7/28/12 New Business in District
Today we returned to our old Columbia Heights neighborhood
of 40th and 6th street, stopping at the previous property
we renovated 4 years ago. The new business tenant Excelsior Graving is happy to
join the neighborhood and welcomed our visit.
The owner, Nancy Wiersgalla, shared her passion for the engraving
industry, the variety of services she offers including plastic signage, plaques
and other engraving offerings.
Have a need stop in at 556 40th tell Nancy you
learned of her business and wanted to see how Excelsior Engraving could help

7/27/12 Campaign Trail Update #59
Yesterday we sent an appeal to supporters for $150.00 St.
Anthony Golf sponsorship. An hour ago my father, who lives in California,
called while eating at a local marina restaurant asking about the sponsorship.
To my surprise my father said put me down for the full amount, I will send you
a check.
I offered some photos of the event for his memories, he
kindly chuckled said I love you and talk to you later. Commitment is taking ideas
and converting those into action. Thank you to my father, living in California,
for supporting his only son.

7/23/12 Campaign Trail Update #57
There are times during a fully
engaged winning campaign volunteers and candidate alike are up late, holding
impromptu meetings discussing breaking political events. Such was the case
tonight when specific local political news developed requiring an impromptu
meeting that eventually moved into the front yard.
Come join a winning campaign and
learn what occasional late night politics is like.

Tonight a life long Republican unexpectedly visited us at “The
White House” making a personal donation of $20.00, welcoming me to the new
HD41-B and sharing his disappointment the Republican brand has self tarnished.
He is glad for a real conservative option on the ballot come Election Day.
We thank this individual for coming forward and supporting
Tim Utz for House 41-B, regardless of political party affiliation.

7/22/12 Campaign Trail Update #56
Today, Sunday July 22, 2012, while we traveled the district in
the campaign bus giving out yard signs to a political cross section of voters, our
Republican challenger desperately hosts a last minute fundraiser hours before a
state imposed deadline for receiving state campaign aid, and our Democratic challenger
sits on thousands of dollars in special interest donations that have reciprocating
Legislative obligations. The Tim Utz for House campaign, clearly the frontrunner
for the HD41-B seat, has a couple illustrative stories from today’s adventures.
Sample 1, A home we returned to, whose owners knew of my candidacy
for House from previous elections, welcomed our visit. After a few minutes of
fun conversation around their front porch the couple gladly accepted our yard
sign. The unusual experience here is their vehicles parked in the driveway had
Obama bumper stickers; showing the strength of our campaigns honest heartfelt
message of freedom, a popular across political party prerequisite for a
November Election Day victory.
Sample 2, When we returned to “The While House” Nadine informed
us a someone called inquiring for yard signs, explaining she just missed our
bus passing her yard and wanted a yard sign. Within minutes our team was back
on the road delivering the requested sign.
In conclusion while the Tim Utz for House campaign and I
personally, place at our forefront a heartfelt mission to lead our community
back to principles of our Constitutional Republic foundations; the Republican
and Democrat candidates in HD41-B give eloquent oratories on the constitution in
“letters to the Editor”, at public engagements, in their official capacities as
public servants, or on their websites; yet their public Legislative and School Board
voting records smack of disingenuous honesty promoting a philosophy contrary to
Tim Utz for Minnesota HD41-B campaign.

7/20/12 Campaign Trail Update #55
Here we go folks our few minutes of public fame walking the Columbia
Heights parade in June. We had a fantastic group of volunteers who joined the
parade route walking with us. The crowds were fantastic, greeting me and
enjoying a closer look at the green bus. Additionally, i especially appreciated
the kind comments by parade Emcee’s.
Although we missed the St. Anthony Parade application
deadline for lack of campaign donations; we are paid for and fully engaged in
the New Brighton Parade on Thursday August 9, 2012 at 5:30pm set up and 6:00PM
parade start. We invite folks to join us for the last parade prior to Election
Day by letting us know of your interest at contact@timutzforhouse.com
I thank the Columbia Heights Lions’ club, the Columbia Heights
city staff, and law enforcement folks from around the north metro for making
the parade an enjoyable experience for everyone.

7/18/12 Campaign Trail Update #53
Wednesday 7/18/12 I met with
a local union member resident who was shocked to learn I am a carpenter’s union
member. He assumed from seeing the (green) campaign bus I was a tree hugging
liberal and had no time for such. After a couple hours of discussion he stood
up opened his wallet and handed our campaign a crisp new $100.00 Federal
Reserve Note, pledged to share with fellow union member, neighbors about
supporting our campaign and voting Tim Utz on Election Day 2012.
Lessons learned today; never
judge a candidate by his campaign bus color, always take time for citizen
questions and join the winning campaign for HD41-B in 2012, Tim Utz for House.

I participated in the St.
Paul Pioneer Press candidate open house and marketing session on Tuesday
evening July 17, 2012. The event had several components to including offering a
candidate photo session for future news publications by the paper where a candidate’s
photo would be used, the papers now has on file candidates 2012 photos.
Also the presenters and
Pioneer Press staff were the actual department directors, key decision makers
for the paper. The many aspects of marketing and reaching voters were presented
to the assembled candidates. The Pioneer Press provided refreshments, cookies,
and munchies for their guests.
Our campaign focused in on a
couple key presentations that might benefit our 2012 Election Day victory; I
personally thank the Pioneer press forward thinking concept of sharing
marketing opportunities with candidates and the exceptional efforts provided to
make candidates welcome.

7/17/12 Campaign Trail Update #50
Tim made a presentation today to the Carpenters Union
endorsement PAC board and other carpenter union members on Tuesday July 17,
2012.
Tim presented the concept we no longer are at odds over
Right against left, union against non-union, poor against rich and so on, but
the battle as for the very soul of an American Constitutional Republic our
founders gave their lives, fortunes and sacred honor to establish. Tim stated
he is the only union member running for HD41-B and asked his fellow union
brothers and sisters to place their confidence in his campaign to restore sound
principles of government to St. Paul.
There was a Q&A period where several thoughtful
questions were asked including was his construction company started on 2004 union,
to which he responded yes, and where he stood on several legislative actions in
the last legislative session.

7/16/12 Campaign Trail Update #49
In my attempt to keep our supporters (and those who would do
us harm) fully informed we share the good and bad of campaign season 2012.
Today is one of those bad days. After several requests to
secure donations from supporters for $150.00 to enter the St. Anthony Villagefest
Parade, today (the last day to submit application) we officially withdrew from
participating in the 2012 event. For the first time in 5 years, we could not
raise $150.00 to pay a parade entry fee from supporters.
Disappointing as this decision is it was the correct decision
and will help harden my resolve when elected to STAND firm resisting
temptations to spend and borrow the citizen’s resources through taxation to
fulfill non Constitutional state functions.

7/15/12 Campaign Update
We are
providing one last reminder before tomorrow’s deadline. Monday is the last day
for entering the St. Anthony parade this year and we currently do not have the
funds for the fee. The fee charged for political campaigns is $150.00. We are
asking for folks to make donations to cover the parade admission fee.
Because of
the short time period folks willing to make donations toward this campaign
expense need to stop by our home, personally dropping off a donation before noon
Monday, thus allowing time to make a bank deposit and drive to St. Anthony
delivering the application and admission fee before 4:00PM Monday.
After noon
Monday we are skipping this years St. Anthony parade and moving onto raising
support for other upcoming events.
In the next
couple weeks we have 8-9 event application deadlines covering a series of
campaign events through August having related expenses like the St. Anthony
parade with an aggregate cost of $1,500.00; all considered critical to successful
marketing of Tim Utz for House 41-B and a victory on Election Day.
Hope to see
you before noon Monday, and stay cool considering the weather forecast the next
48 hours.
7/15/12 Donations

7/13/12 Consideration for Today
Minnesota, a sovereign free state of citizens granted their
civil, religious liberties from our God and loyal to a Republic form of self governing
individuals; Minnesota voluntarily joined in union with like minded peer states
forming a subordinate, to the people of said states a national civil government
temporarily gifted authority for repelling “external” forces and securing solid
weights and measures, a stable currency.

7/9/12 Campaign Trial Update #44
Initial voter survey data reveals a lot of good news for our
campaign in HD41-B, where we are showing that 20.6% of registered voters will
vote straight party ticket (Democrat or Republican) on Election Day another
13.9% are solid voters for Tim Utz Minnesota HD41-B.

Day will not vote straight party ticket, remains disconnected from major party
politics, is seeking other candidates not affiliated with main stream parties. In
fact, many indicated, unlike previous election cycles, they are doing their own
research prior to Election Day, seeking the best qualified candidates.

7/8/12 Campaign Trail Update #43
I have been working for hours on campaign related business,
reports, communications, and documentations, currently working on a headache.
Later tonight it is on the victory campaign trail, taking nothing for granted,
even our polling, working the district finding the voters and securing an Election
Day victory.
7/8/12 Emotional Politics
My wife and I were just talking about how people make decisions,
especially political decisions. She mentioned politicians seem to make decisions
on emotion. I realized that could be much of our current political issues in
civil government, elected officials are pleasing others, soliciting emotional
support, not standing on principle, rule of constitutional governance, or
restraining power.

7/7/12 Campaign Trail Update #41
We held a campaign meeting this morning considering there is
only 120 days until Election Day; many subjects were discussed, plans made,
promotions planned, strategies developed and excitement on experiencing a 2012
Election Day victory.
Thursday, July 5, 2012
7/5/12 Interrelated Principles
The more I read original documents, understand state sovereignty
and separation of powers established by our founders, read history, consider
the interrelated principles of scripture and the founders preservation of our
God granted civil and religious freedoms; the realization of ignorance by
citizens and elected officials alike in “all things Republic and Constitutional”
becomes clearer.
America needs a great awakening of both civil and religious inspiration;
a society convicted of our apathy for civil participation and remorse for lack
of moral fiber, lacking both, affecting the virtue of the American experience.
7/4/12 Nothing Short Of Hot
As with every holiday during the course of a year, we
ventured out on July 4th 2012 seeking voters. Our first attempt occurred
during the heat of the day (heat index of 113) and lasted a short hour as we managed
to travel around and visit Silver Lake Park, in Columbia Heights. We returned
to “The White House” for refreshments, and some food.
The second attempt in the evening after 7:30 found the
weather better especially as the sun continued setting. Mona and Tim traveled
in New Brighton waving and greeting many folks who started venturing out of
their homes. We knew everyone was home with all the vehicles parked in
driveways, and people looking out their windows. The positive name recognition
was especially encouraging and reflective of a strong ground game for 2012.
Tim Utz for House personally invites you to sign up for the
next two parades, the first is in St. Anthony on Friday August 3, 2012, and the
second parade is New Brighton on Thursday August 9, 2012. For inquiries or signing
up email us at contact@timutzforhouse.com

7/4/12 A Call to Action
Fellow citizens
As we approach Election Day 2012,
politically it becomes more apparent issues of party affiliation are
irrelevant. Examples are;
- The state and federal court rulings that “We the People” ignorantly accept as the law.
- Neither the United States House (republican controlled) or the United States Senate (Democrat controlled) are competent enough to repeal, NDAA, SOPA, Patriot extension, United Nations intrusions on our sovereignty, a 2011 federal debt limit increase of $2,400,000,000,000.00 and another $1,400,000,000,000 scheduled for September 2012.
- Illegal Presidential Executive Orders.
And on the list goes.
For Minnesota for the last 16 months both Democrat and
Republican parties joined forces to offer our state an 18% spending increase, an
additional $1,200,000,000.00 bonding commitment, a billion dollar illegal stadium,
and more restrictions of personal property rights and our God given freedoms.
My campaign has consistently fought against the political cruelty
of elected officials cowering behind voting records, political party loyalty,
and the seeming total disregard for the representative’s oath of office to
defend and protect our Constitutions.
After years of hard work, thanks to ten of thousands of
volunteer hours Tim Utz for House HD241-B campaign is poised for a November
victory. We ask you to join forces with us today, recognize the gravity of the
condition within our shredded Republic, take action and make a generous
donation for reasoned constitutional representation in HD41-B. Visit www.timutzforhouse now and donate $19.95,
$31.23, $67.97, $248.09 or other amount; whatever the contribution now is the
political seasonal time to support a principled viable candidate.
7/4/12 Happy Independence Day?
We celebrate today with party, fun, spending money on our
self, family, gorging on food and beverage, closing out the busy day watching fireworks
at sunset, then put our head on the pillow, calling it a great day.
Another scenario occurred on this day in 1776 when after months
of wrangling, endless meetings, threats of assignations, murder, mayhem, and an
unknown future, delegates to a treasonous colonial convention signed and
publicly published a document that changed the relationship between citizen and
government.
There were no celebrations, fireworks, parties, dancing in
the streets by those delegates who just signed their death certificates; there
were continual prayers to God for assistance, letters of fear to family, quiet
solitude, reflection of expected personal loss and suffrage. Those delegates, a
target of England’s global power, having purpose, principle, and convictions, held
tight to their faith in God understanding only mercy from heaven could provide
victory; knowing their declaration was necessary, providing an uncertain future.
Perhaps this July 4, 2012 we step aside from the usual,
consider contrition, repentance, quiet solitude, and reflection on the future,
personal responsibility in civil discourse; then act, spending our time focused
on electing men who have purpose, principle, convictions, and understanding the
obligations of civil service. Men who, like our forefathers, fear God rather
than man, who know the seriousness of civil service, the gift of civil and
religious liberty God granted, that government cannot diminish. Perhaps, just
perhaps, we should do something different.

7/3/12 Campaign Trail Update #39
The Republican Party endorsed candidate for HD41-B, Laura
Palmer, has finally started rising from the political weeds to begin her race
for St. Paul. Laura, who apparently has proclaimed no interest in running or intentions
on winning this year, is on the November ballot to diminish a victory for
conservative Constitutional representation in HD41-B.
In June 2008, 4 years ago, I met with a group of enthusiastic
citizens at Sarna’s Bar and Grill to begin our first run for State House. That
day, Emily Grimes, our new artistic, design, volunteer leaned over to me and
said “I found your campaign colors on that wall hanging artwork; orange, purple
and green”. For the last 4 years, using her gifted skills, Emily has branded
our campaign recognition throughout the district with those 3 distinctive
colors. Tim Utz for House 41-B is known for the green bus, purple yard signs
and orange accent colors.
Segments of Republican leadership in this district are still
fuming over my party affiliation change last year making claims I am a “pointless
political puke”, an unwinnable candidate without the Republican label, and a drain
on conservative votes for Republicans in the district. With millions of colors available,
or the distinctive Republican “red”, I find curious that Laura Palmer has decided
to copy the distinctive campaign colors of the Tim Utz for House 41-B.
Copy is the operative word here; what next is Laura willing
to copy of my so called “pointless political puke campaign” to secure a
Republican victory during the next 120 days? Perhaps Laura should stick to
local political activity on the Columbia Heights School board, where as a board
member she currently copies the voting records of her liberal peers.

For friends and supporters of Tim Utz for Minnesota House
41-B July 4, 2012 is an opportunity to reflect on how our Republic has strayed
from her foundations. Also how we must support, donate and elect qualified,
gifted and dedicated candidates for public office.
For folks supporting Tim who have not donated to his
campaign yet, this week is a great time to make that contribution, $10.00,
$25.00, $50.00 or more are dollars critical to a successful campaign. Take a couple
minutes now and donate at www.timutzforhouse.com

7/1/12 Campaign Donation Notice
Under Minnesota campaign finance reporting laws today starts
a new donation reporting period lasting until October. For Republicans concerned
about reprisals by party officials in HD41-B or beyond for supporting Tim Utz
for Minnesota House, a candidate you really believe in; now you can quietly make
those donations undisclosed until just prior to Election Day.
The volunteer staff at Tim Utz for Minnesota House 41-B invites
you to return home; return to the candidate your heart longs to support. Tim anticipates
your return; our children need parents willing to place principles above
political party for the sake of their futures and America’s Republic.
