4/23/11 Another Educational History Lesson

We had 8 participants tonight for "The American Heritage Series". Much discussion followed each video. This series is a MUST watch for every American. look for the 3rd series showing post for the summer, then attend this free opportunity.

4/26/11 Tyranny Of The Federal Census

I just completed a 40 minute survey round with the Federal census department supervisor. I responded to the questions by stating no comment. Now I wait for a fine for "Refusing" to answer the questions. Only problem for the government is the guarantee of anonymous of the survey. Kind of hard to send a ticket to an anonymous address or even tracking me on Social Network to make the connection between me and the answers I provided and maintain their claim of anonymous survey.

4/25/11 Anniversary

Happy anniversary to my hot wife of 13 years, I know she never expected the ride of life we have shared together, and today I want to publicly thank Nadine for keeping her vows and making a great marriage even better. Happy anniversary Sweetheart.

4/23/11 Serving The community

Tonight I serve the community of Columbia Heights, Minnesota participating in a Police Reserve shift until 2:00am. As a police Reserve we commit to serving one shift a month, yearly training, monthly meetings, and serving as Reserves at special events throughout the year.

4/16/11 Great Convention

As campaign manager for Sheldon Beilke for Deputy Chair at the Minnesota Republican Party State Central convention in Bloomington, Minnesota on April 16, 2011 at the Ramada Mall of America Hotel I had a blast, working the Delegates and Alternates, guiding Sheldon around the convention helping him to make political connections and support.

We had a convention table that turned out being a staging area rather than promoting Sheldon's campaign. We had to vacate our suite from the night before by noon. Nadine (my wife) did a great job on getting the hotel room cleaned up for check-out and setting up posters around the convention with Mona's help. Greg Sloat and worked hard making sure Sheldon had coffee and filling in where I could not while focusing on Sheldon's campaigning. Mona took my spot on the convention floor as Delegate and did a stand-up job there. John Anderson came later to provide support.  Sheldon had to seek out people to greet prior to his speech. All in all, Sheldon knocked out of the park his speech to the convention. After the speech people continually approached Sheldon thanking him for presenting his message.

4/5/11 Weekly Video Series

We held another video series from "The American Herietage Series" tonight. 9 people attended the evening activities, we enjoyed livley discussion, reflection on the condition of government and education today and shared soem munchies during the videos.
