4/8/12 Easter Reflections

Tim and Nadine Utz wish everyone who celebrates this holiday a pleasant reflective Easter. They hope everyone takes time reflecting on the purpose of celebrating Easter, not the fluff of a holiday filled with the worldly distractions of bunnies, Easter egg hunts, chocolates and a full tummy after enjoying a full plate of family cooking; but the sacrificial giving of our creator through Christ and His rising from the tomb, to sit at the right hand of the Father in Heaven.

Let us ponder in quiet reflection and consideration His blessings on our lives and how we might daily share those blessings with others.

A happy Easter to all
Tim and Nadine Utz

  1. Thank you Tim for stepping forward to run for office, and for going to the trouble of lit dropping some information on my door. Sincerely.

I hope everyone fulfills their civic duty by acknowledging your efforts by voting.

As a voter I'd like you to know that I am for public roads, public schools, public hospitals, and public parks. Might of left something out.

This would be a great time, during double dip recession and low interest rates, for government to bond and big, to rebuild our infrastructure, and to put Americans back to work.

Our bridges are falling down, our schools and hospitals are being privatized, and our parks - if it's like last year, we'll be lucky if they are open.

If it was not for public education I would not be able to fulfill my civic duty, or discuss governance. Think we are all tired of Reaganistic 'government is the problem' actions that are designed to make our government fail and look bad. And pointing fingers at the less fortunate, the young, and the old, and those 'different' people.

Different people is what America was built on. Which brings us around to some homework of how the constitutional principle of church-state separation as the only way to ensure religious freedom for all Americans.

Some things to consider once you get elected.
