In Minnesota most people are misinformed on the gun permit
laws thinking our state is a “Conceal and Carry” state. Let me be clear,
Minnesota is a “Carry” state and has no requirement to conceal the firearm
while in public.
That said, today I made the trip to the Anoka County Sheriff
office with another liberty minded friend and we dropped off our permit
applications. Behind the counter were hundreds of applications from last week
sitting on a counter. The receptionist (protected behind bullet proof glass,
think about the implications of bullet proof glass at a public building)
indicated those were applications from last week and that business has been
brisk recently.
