October 16, 2012 was one day
of many for campaign volunteers of Tim Utz for Minnesota HD41-B who spent time
distributing over 10,000 doorknob hangers to single family properties throughout
the district. Today the group was working their way through St. Anthony,
Minnesota.
A lot of hard work
especially walking and climbing steps for hours, along with the occasional
barking dog goes into a literature drop. Citizens have little or no idea the
efforts required to develop, print, and distribute just one literature piece. The
doorknob project involved over 200 volunteer hours for distribution alone, and
around $1,900.00 in direct cost.
