The Legislative Evaluation Assembly (http://www.mnlea.org/) met tonight hosting
their annual banquet and business meeting. There were 6 candidates for the 5
open board positions. Who would guess there was a tie for the 5th board
spot, an event not remembered in previous elections? The board members chose to
toss a quarter breaking the tie, and low and behold yours truly Tim Utz won the
coin toss and am a board member of the LEA for two years.
Tonight’s unfolding events show a political third party
member can win elections, even when it requires a quarter.
